The Central Medical Library (CML) is located within the main premises of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine (UZSM). It also operates in two branch locations: the University Hospital Centre Medical Library (so-called Rebro Medical Library) and the Library of the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics.
As a central UZSM library, the CML (Šalata 3) encompasses:
- student book collection containing textbooks, handbooks, manuals etc., and accompanying reading rooms,
- collection of domestic and international journals in the field of preclinical and clinical sciences,
- reference collection (encyclopedias, dictionaries, manuals, bibliographic indices etc.),
- collection of monograph publications,
- collection of doctoral dissertations and master of science theses defended at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine.
The Medical Library Rebro (Kišpatićeva 12) provides a reading room equipped with computers, and a collection of various textbooks, clinical manuals and print periodicals regarding all areas of clinical medicine and practice.
The Library of the Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics (Petrova 13) offers books and journals mostly related to the field of gynecology and obstetrics.
